Just take an exact counter situation that you visit a place , know that the person you want to be encountered with is in that place, after this disastrous waiting you even try to inform indirectly that you are at the same place(through SMS or something) and dont get any response:(.With the matured understanding (she/he must be busy)leave the place and forget about all these and fall into your own hurry burry start back to your living place and get struck horribly in a traffic jam.Almost for 20mins of cribbing there in traffic and commenting others' stupidity in getting a way for hurrying out and making the situation even pathetic over there , now with all the boredom filled in mind , just look around at a person and realize that , he/she was none other than the one for whom you have waited for :).

The statement is exactly true...
but us the example that u have given does not suit...
it suits to "When are want some thing disparately then you don't but when u ignore the thing after trying hard to get it then i will only come to u"
the statement may not be correct but i hope u understood what i wanted to convey...
